Three children have died from injuries sustained in a St. Paul house fire, and three siblings and their mother remain hospitalized.
The fire broke out in their St. Paul home in the early morning hours of January 3. Fire crews were called to the scene in the 1200 block of Arkwright Street North around 1:30 am. When they entered the home, they found six children and their mother unconscious. They were transported to Regions Hospital where three of them later died.
Pa Cheng Vang, the child’s father, told the StarTribune that his 5-year-old twin daughters Ntshiab Si and Siv Ntshiab and 4-year-old son Mauj Tshau Ntuj have died from injuries they sustained in the fire. He told the paper that his 1-year-old son is in critical condition, his wife is in serious condition and two of his children have shown signs of improvement.
