A Salmonella outbreak linked to deli items served at a Fresh Market store in Buckhead, GA, earlier this year sickened 15 people, half of whom required hospitalization, according to Georgia health officials. A food source has not yet been determined, but an investigation by the Georgia Department of Agriculture is ongoing.

In a statement to Channel 2 Action News, the Georgia Department of Public Health said the cases linked to the store, located at 4405 Roswell Road, were reported between January 2023 and July 2023. No illnesses have been reported since July.
