Investigators are trying to determine what caused the explosion. A neighbor told KY3 News that the propane tank had just been refilled that day.  Improperly filling a propane tank can cause it explode.

“One of our recent cases that settled for $10 million involved a propane tank that wasn’t filled properly,” said Explosion Attorney Eric Hageman. “Our client suffered third-degree burns over 60 percent of his body, spent nearly two months in a burn unit.”
