Crowded Intersection at North 70th Avenue Requires Driver vigilance
The intersection of Brooklyn Boulevard and N. 70th Ave, which is located near a high concentration of automobile dealerships, requires drivers pay particular attention when making a left turn onto North 70th Avenue as there are three lanes of traffic to cross as well as traffic in both directions both going straight and turning.
Off-Duty North Memorial Paramedic Rendered Aid
An off duty North Memorial ambulance paramedic rendered aid to Mr. Vang at the scene and was performing CPR when first responders arrived. Mr. Vang was taken to North Memorial Health Hospital, where he died shortly after noon. Authorities have not said whether Ariel Larson, the driver of the minivan was injured.
