One person in Evelyth, MN was hospitalized with burn injuries after an explosion and fire yesterday. The incident occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on the 600 block of 17th Avenue West. The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the explosion.
The injured person was transported to an area hospital via ambulance. No other injuries were reported.
