According to news reports, San Antonio Fire Department crews arrived to find flames leaping through the roof of the home with all three people trapped inside. Firefighters rescued one person, the two others were able to make it out on their own.
A fire department spokesperson told local media that the source of the fire was a pocket of gas inside the gas line that caused a rupture. A crew from CPS Energy was called in. They had to dig up the street to get to the shut-off valve.
