1 Dead, I Injured in House Explosion in Greenwood Township, MN

One woman is dead and a man is seriously injured after a house explosion in Greenwood Township in St. Louis County, Minnesota. Eva and Michael Gramse, both 72, were inside the house, located near the 1700 block of Everett Bay Road on Lake Vermillion, when it exploded around 9:30 a.m. on October 27.

When first responders arrived, they found Michael in the yard with serious injuries, according to a report from KBJR. He was airlifted to Essentia-St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. Eva’s remains were later found inside the home, which was destroyed by fire.
