An explosion and fire at a strip mall in Harrisonburg, Va. injured five people including students from James Madison University. Two people were airlifted to UVA Medical Center, another was transported by ambulance to Sentara RMH Medical Center and two people were treated at the scene.

Area residents a half-mile from the mall reported hearing a loud boom and feeling the ground shake.
