The Oregon Health Authority and Josephine County Public Health Department has linked multiple cases of Salmonellosis (Salmonella bacteria poisoning) to the Si Casa Flores restaurant chain in Grants Pass Oregon.

Symptoms can start within six hours of exposure but often do not start until 4-6 days after exposure. In some rare cases, symptoms may not begin until as long as 3 weeks following exposure to the tainted food. Children, infants, the elderly, pregnant women and people with underlying conditions are at increased risk. Symptoms can include diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, fever/chills, blood in the stool and severe headache. In some cases serious complications, like sepsis (blood infection), pericarditis (inflammation of the heart) and reactive arthritis (long lasting arthritis symptoms) can occur.
