The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall on X-Stand ‘Silent Adrenaline’ and ‘Apache’ brand tree stands. The treestands, manufactured in China, have cable assemblies that can corrode and then break while in-use causing people to fall without warning. Multiple injuries have been reported, with at least two people suffering broken bones. The CPSC warned that hunters “should immediately stop using the recalled climbing treestands”.
Our attorneys have experience getting compensation and justice for people injured by defective treestand products. Because treestands are designed to be used high in the air the risk of injury if they fail is substantial. They need be safe.
