A FedEx truck struck a nine-year-old girl riding her bicycle in Hibbing, MN last Tuesday. The incident happened shortly after 11:30 AM at the intersection of 31st Street West and Fifth Avenue West. Rose Sajevic was biking south on Fifth Avenue W when a FedEx truck traveling west on 31st Street West struck her bicycle. Rose suffered serious injuries, including two broken femurs, cracked ribs, and other broken bones. She was airlifted to Essentia Health in Duluth. Rose’s family says that she faces multiple surgeries and six months in a wheelchair. A family friend set-up a Go Fund Me page to help support the Sajevic family.
