A female driver was killed instantly when a semi truck rear-ended her Ford Taurus in Macomb County. On Thursday, March 8, troopers responded to reports of a rolled over semi on westbound I-94 in St. Clair Shores around 1:30 pm. Michigan State Police say traffic had begun to slow down when the semi was unable to stop, rear-ending the Ford Taurus. The semi then rolled over, landing on a Chrysler and Cadillac SUV. A female driver in the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver and other two drivers suffered minor injuries.

Police say a fourth driver was hit in the crash but have not yet determined when that crash occurred. That driver was taken to the local hospital with minor injuries.
