A worker died in an industrial accident when a tank exploded at a commercial greenhouse in Orem, UT. The explosion took place at about 8:30 AM on Thursday at Cook’s Farm and Greenhouse, located at 1645 W. 1600 North. 39-year-old Efren Perez Sanchez of Lindon was spraying plants using a water and lime mixture in a pressurized air tank. The air tank exploded, struck him in the head, and killed him. Orem Police say the explosion happened due to a tank failure.
