A thirteen-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car while riding his bicycle to school this morning. Patric Vitek, a seventh-grade student at Dakota Hills Middle School, was hit by a car while riding his bike on Diffley Road in Eagan, MN. The crash happened near the middle school at about 7:20 A.M. The school’s principal sent an email to parents confirming that the boy died at Regions Hospital from injuries he suffered in the crash. The middle school will have additional personnel and counselors on-site today to help support students and staff.
