The epidemic of truck drivers injuring and killing people after smashing into the back of stopped cars continued late Thursday night in Rosemount, Minnesota.
A Green 1991 Volvo Dump Truck, driven by Fred Tamu Fonji of Roseville, MN crashed into the back of a Ford pickup truck driven by Neal Wagner. Mr. Wagner was stopped in the left turn lane waiting for the light to change with three other vehicles ahead of him. The dump truck pushed Mr. Wagner’s vehicle into the ditch before then slamming onto a 2015 Subaru Legacy being driven by William Craig. William’s wife, Collette Craig, was a passenger. The Craig’s Subaru was pushed into a semi-truck stopped in front of them, which was also waiting for the light to turn. The crash resulted in the deaths of both William and Colette.
