An explosion at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing in Dodge Center, MN on January 11, 2017 injured six people.
Two people with severe burns were airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, which has a nationally recognized burn center. Two additional workers were transported by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Saint Mary’s Campus, for treatment of serious injuries, and two were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Fire officials have not yet determined the cause of the explosion at the company, which manufactures cement and garbage trucks powered by compressed natural gas.
The explosion took place just after 10:30 a.m. inside a paint bay where all six of those who were injured were working.
An employee who has worked at the company for 10 years told a local newspaper that the force of the explosion was strong enough to blow the steel doors off both ends of the 300-foot-long building.
Attorney Eric Hageman recently won over $30 million for a client who was burned. From his offices in Minneapolis, he flies throughout the United States representing people who have been critically injured.
Eric was “a warrior for me” said one client.
It is important to hire a lawyer as soon as possible because an enormous amount of work needs to be done and some evidence can be compromised over time.
