Around 12:30 Monday afternoon a collision occurred near the intersection of 7th Ave and University Ave. The motorcyclist was traveling in the southbound lane of University Ave when she struck the side of a Minneapolis Public School District truck that had pulled out from Seventh Ave.
The motorcyclist, whose name has yet to be released, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.
