Four people were injured in a condo fire in Delta Township, MI on Tuesday night. Firefighters were called to the scene of the four-unit building on Creekside Drive at 10:30 p.m.
Delta Township Fire Deputy Andrew Jenkins found three people, a married couple and their adult daughter, inside and unable to get out because of their medical conditions. Jenkins had to maneuver around the flames to rescue the man, an amputee, and carry him out.
Jenkins and the two women suffered smoke inhalation and were treated at a hospital and released. The man, who suffered severe burns, remains in critical condition.
