A 40-year-old man is in serious condition after the motorized bicycle he was riding on was hit by a car on Oak Street at 9th Street in Brainerd, Minnesota. The accident happened on May 23, 2016 at 6:57 p.m. The man on the bike was crossing Oak Street with his dog, leaving a gas station when the accident occurred. There is a pedestrian crosswalk at that intersection.
A man from Brainerd, Minnesota, was badly injured in the crash and was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale with serious head trauma. Witnesses say he “flew 25 feet” into the air as a result of the impact. His shoes were knocked off. His dog ran off after the accident, according to witnesses.
