Law Firm Investigating Fig & Olive Lawsuit for Salmonella

Our law firm is representing people sickened in a Salmonella outbreak associated with eating at the Fig & Olive restaurant in Washington DC’s City Center.

Salmonella

To date, there are 60 confirmed cases of illness, including 10 people in Washington D.C. and Virginia and 50 people in 4 other states, according to the DC Department of Health. An additional 150 cases are being investigated.

In response to the outbreak, The Fig & Olive closed. It has now reopened. According to health officials, the restaurant no longer poses a health risk.

The restaurant has been sanitized, employees debriefed,  food discarded and problematic menu items have been retired.

Now the people sickened in the outbreak need to be compensated for their pain and suffering, medical expenses and lost wages. Our food safety legal team can be reached for a free consultation at 1-888-377-8900.

If you go to the doctor and are diagnosed with Salmonella food poisoning, you need to make sure Salmonella isolates from your stool sample are further tested to find out if the strain is the same that has sickened others in the outbreak. If you have questions about this testing, talk to our Salmonella lawyers about it during a free consultation.

People in 5 states have reported illness after eating at Fig & Olive. The DC Department of Health has not released the names of the 5 other states.
