Mass Destruction Product Linked to Liver Failure

The FDA is advising consumers to stop using Mass Destruction, a product marketed as a dietary supplement for muscle growth. This product has  been linked to a case of liver failure in North Carolina.

“Liver failure from dietary supplements like this one is a growing problem,” said attorney Fred Pritzker, who recently won $45,000,000.00 for clients injured by a defective product. “These products are sold to consumers without any required testing, and under federal law, the FDA is not able to do anything to ensure the safety of these products before they are sold by retailers.” You can contact Fred for a free consultation (click here now) about a lawsuit for liver failure.

According to the North Carolina Department of Health, a previously healthy 28-year-old male suffered liver failure requiring transplant after using Mass Destruction for several weeks. This product is manufactured for Blunt Force Nutrition in Sims, N.C. and sold in retail stores, fitness gyms, and on the Internet.

The ingredient that appears to be the cause of the liver failure is a synthetic anabolic steroid listed on the label, but the FDA is investigating whether additional steroids or other ingredients not listed on the label are in the product.
