Pritzker Hageman food safety attorneys in partnership with with Chris Lee, a well-known and experienced lawyer who represents restaurants and other food producers, held a roundtable discussion about current trends and issues in foodborne illness litigation.
The roundtable was entitled “Food Safety from Farm to Fork: Litigation Perspectives” and was hosted by the ABA Section of Litigation, Food and Supplements Subcommittee.”
The roundtable offered an overview of foodborne illness litigation from both the plaintiff’s and defendant’s perspective and outlined the major hurdles faced by plaintiffs as well as the potential pitfalls awaiting food sellers, distributors and producers.
