The drunk teen who killed 4 people and seriously injured 2 will not be spending any time in prison, ruled a Texas District Court Judge Jean Boyd yesterday. The teen was driving a Ford F-350 pickup truck owned by his father’s company at an estimated 70 miles-per-hour in a 40 mph zone when he lost control and crashed. His blood alcohol level was 3 times the legal limit for adults. He was 16 and under the legal drinking age.
To get some idea of the tragic nature of the accident, watch the second video on this page on the CNN website: http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/05/us/texas-affluenza-teen/ .
To get some justice, the families and victims are suing the teen, his family and his father’s company for compensation for personal injury and wrongful death.
