Our national Salmonella lawyers are investigating an outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium that has sickened at least 16 people in 5 states, including Wisconsin. Attorney Fred Pritzker, who recently won over $40,000,000.00 for clients injured by another product, recently spoke at Harvard Law School about food safety. “Food poisoning victims deserve compensation from meat processors and restaurants that fail to protect them from dangerous pathogens like Salmonella,” said Fred. In Wisconsin, 3 people have confirmed cases of the outbreak strain of Salmonella Typhimurium. Two of the Salmonella victims are adults and one is a child. One of the 3 was hospitalized. The people live in Waukesha, Fond du Lac, and Oneida counties. The Wisconsin Department of Health is working with the CDC and other state health departments on this outbreak investigation.
In response to this outbreak Gab Halal Foods and Jouni Meats recalled ground beef the companies sold to a Sterling Heights, MI restaurant and customers at their retail stores. News reports and information we have received from other sources suggest that Ikes Family Restaurant in Sterling Heights, Michigan may be associated with some of the illnesses in this multistate Salmonella outbreak: Arizona (1), Illinois (2), Iowa (1), Michigan (9), and Wisconsin (3).
Attorney Fred Pritzker and his Bad Bug Law Team have won millions for Salmonella victims and their families.
