Attorneys Fred Pritzker and David Szerlag are representing people who had hip replacement surgery using Stryker hip implant products. These artificial hip products are causing metal poisoning (chromium and cobalt) and failing. For lawsuit information, contact Fred and David for a free consultation here.
The Stryker Rejuvenate Hip System was recalled in July of this year (2012). It was a modular hip system made up of a stem and neck that could then be used with a ball from another Stryker hip replacement system (Trident). If you had these parts implanted in your body, the Rejuvenate stem fwas inserted into your femur (though bone), the Rejuvenate neck connects the stem to the ball, which is implanted into your hip bone. You can see these parts in the picture on the right. If you look closely, you can see significant corrosion on the neck. These were removed from one of our patients. The surgery to remove them is called revision surgery, and it is particularly difficult and painful with Rejuvenate parts because the femur needs to be reopened to take out the stem and replace it.
We have many clients who are having a great deal of difficulty with hip pain and fluid collection around the hip. Some of our clients are not sure if Rejuvenate products were used for their hip replacement. It is important to positively identify the type of hip parts that were used. If you are unsure what parts were used for your hip implant, that is something we can help you with.
We are working hard to help our clients get compensation for all injuries suffered because of the defective Stryker Rejuvenate hip implant products. If you have any questions about the Rejuvenate System, contact Fred and David here.
