Kirkland organic eggs sold at Costco have been recalled for Salmonella. Costco shoppers who purchased these eggs should not eat them as Salmonella can cause serious illness.

On November 27, 2024, Handsome Brook Farms issued the recall for 10,800 retail units of the Organic Pasture-Raised 24-Count Eggs sold under the Kirkland Signature brand name beginning November 22, 2024. Symptoms of a Salmonella Infection

Symptoms of a Salmonella infection usually develop within six to 72 hours of exposure. They include:

  • Fever
  • Nausea
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Vomiting
