Red Cow E. coli Outbreak

Burgers served at Hen House eatery in Minneapolis and multiple Red Cow locations are the source of an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak that has sickened at least 11 people hospitalizing two of them, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. Other cases are under investigation and the ground beef that is the suspected source of the outbreak was distributed to other restaurants so additional cases could be reported.

The people sickened in this outbreak said they ate burgers at the Hen House or a Red Cow location in Hennepin, Ramsey, or Olmsted County between October 31 and November 7. All of the restaurants received ground beef from the same supplier.
