White Chocolate Salmonella Snacks Recall at Walmart, Target…[Update]

Updated May 20 with additional recall information. Palmer Candy Company has recalled dozens of snacks and treats containing white chocolate for Salmonella risk. The recalled products, including pretzels, snack mix, and cookies were sold at Walmart, Hy-Vee, Target, and Dollar General stores nationwide, and at Albertsons family of stores in Texas and New Mexico.

Consumers who shop at these stores should carefully check recall information.

In New Mexico and Texas, stores that sold the recalled candy and snacks include Albertsons Market, Amigos, Market Street, and United stores.

Salmonella Symptoms

Symptoms of a Salmonella infection include nausea, fever, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea that can be bloody. Usually, these symptoms develop within six to 72 hours of exposure.
