Wegmans Finishing Butter Listeria Recall

Wegmans Lemon Dill Finishing Butter is under recall for Listeria risk. On August 19, Epicurean Butter LLC of Thornton, CO issued a recall for 3.5-ounce tubs of Wegmans Lemon Dill Finishing Butter because it had received notice that dill from its supplier, SupHerb Farms, of potential contamination.

Consumers who have purchased this product should not use it as Listeria can cause serious illness and death. Among pregnant women, Listeria can cause miscarriage and stillbirth.

The recalled product was distributed to Wegmans Food Markets in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, and Washington DC.
