The shelled peas from Green Barn Farm Market of Ripon, WI were sold at various Wisconsin farmers markets. Consumers who have purchased these peas and have them at home should not eat them as Salmonella can cause serious illness.
The shelled peas were sold at:
- Green Barn Farm Market farm stands and farmers markets in Ripon, Green Bay, Madison, and Fond du Lac
- Green Valley Acres Farm and Company farm stand in Neenah
Symptoms of a Salmonella infection include fever, nausea, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea that can be bloody. These symptoms usually develop within six to 72 hours of exposure. If you ate the peas and have these symptoms, see a doctor right away and mention your exposure to Salmonella.
