Barron County, Wisconsin, was the scene of a tragic, fatal truck crash that sent a milk tanker into the ditch, severely injuring a husband and father from Clintonville, Wisconsin, and killing his 9-year-old son. The Barron County Sheriff’s Office reported that the injured man had to be removed from the wreckage that had trapped and killed his son. Our thoughts are with the family.
Accounts of the accident state that the milk tanker was traveling on Hwy. 8 west of Barron, when a car crossed into its path. The collision resulted in the truck rolling into the ditch. The crash happened at about 4 a.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017.
The man injured in this crash was hospitalized and is expected to survive his injuries.
